Did someone say road trip? (Colorado to Florida)

We spent the night with Uncle Donnie and Aunt VaNeal in Colorado Springs.
Uncle Donnie's 1957 Chevy Bel Air. I called my Dad right away to tell him - somebody was jealous.
Lisa and I had a difficult choice to make. While in Colorado Springs, we could either go to the Air Force Academy or here. I was disappointed.

Our first one lane road. We were the first ones to arrive after the last caravan had left. We waited about 45 minutes until the pilot car arrived to lead us through the 15-mile stretch.

Finally - on the move.
Not again!

This is a common sight in the Farrar house - hyptonized black dog.
Now that Lisa and I are Southerners - we are required to partake of Waffle House. While eating we got two "Darlin's" and a "Hallelujah Time" from Kimberly our server and cook - it's how things are done at Waffle House.

Even Boo was able to enjoy a little of Waffle House.
What happens after eating at Waffle House.
Welcome to Florida!
Another common sight during the trip - Boo hogging all of the bed.
Lisa perplexed as to where to begin with the nice spread from Sonny's BBQ in Tallahassee. Don't worry, I had the catfish (and the mac-n-cheese, coleslaw, sweet potato, cornbread, and blueberry cobbler).
Welcome to Florida?
En fin!
