Port Townsend

Seems like everybody these days is going to Port Townsend. Lisa and I took off Friday afternoon on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry over to the Olympic Peninsula. After a brief stop in Port Gamble we headed North to Port Townsend. We spent Friday downtown shopping, looking for some Native American art from the Northwest to take with us to Florida.

We stayed at the Holly Hill House Bed & Breakfast. A converted Victorian mansion built in 1872.

Breakfast the first morning - Strawberry cheesecake pancakes!

Port Townsend Farmers Market runs every Saturday throughout the summer.

For Joseph - He left his mark here several years ago.

Richard Gere filmed Officer and a Gentleman at Fort Worden.

Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Forest.

2 bear cubs on the way down from Hurricane Ridge - luckily Mama was nowhere nearby.

Breakfast on Sunday - onion and cheese souffle with roasted potatoes.

Mandatory photo of Leah. Doing her best imitation of Popeye - look at those forearms!
