Day 3 - We had an accident

So instead of working on the house, we decided to to take a break - a Project Runway break. Plus, my hamstrings are killing me from tearing up those nail strips for the carpeting. We'll be back tomorrow with more pictures, because tonight's plans include removing the rest of the carpet in the hallway and the bedrooms.

Mock Home Remodeling Drill

So, Lisa and Boo have moved into their new place in Kirkland. While there are several things that make the home very appealing – the location, the size of the yard, the size of the house, etc., there are certain things that need to be taken care of to make the place just a tad bit more livable. So Lisa and I have decided that it would be good training to practice our remodeling skills on someone else’s house. Plus the home is scheduled to be demolished sometime next year to construct multi-million dollar mansions. So no matter what we do – it really doesn’t matter. Basically the homeowner has given us the green light to “train.” Look out Ty Pennington – there is a new dreamy home remodeling dude ready to take your place.
