Did someone say road trip? (Washington to Utah)

After our camping trip with the family, we started our migration eastward to Florida. The trip took 10 days and passed through WA, OR, ID, UT, WY, CO, OK, TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, and of course, FL. Thanks to Harry Potter books 1 through 5.3 the trip was pretty enjoyable. The only issue we really had was some pretty severe rain in Texas, which required a route change, and some one lane roads in the middle of nowhere southern Colorado. We visited the campuses of BYU-Idaho, BYU-Provo, Air Force Academy, Texas Tech, and Florida State. We planned on visting Univ. of Texas-San Antonio and LSU, but our route change had us going more north to avoid the effects of Hurricane Dean. We were able to see a lot of friends and of course a lot of the US.
Thus it begins.
No clue. We had driven by this on previous trips to Salem, and each time produced the same results - traffic. Annoying onlookers deducing what the heck it is.

Lana and Tony at Craigo's Pizza in Rexburg, ID. The cheesy breadsticks were better when I was going to school. The dessert was on the house due to the fact that we had driven the farthest to have dinner there.
Tony's son David - also known as the 7th best Guitar Hero II player in the US.
The Jacob Spori Building. I spent many hours in the orginal version of this building while attending Ricks College. It burnt down the day before it was scheduled to be demolished to build this version.
Boo, Lana, and Lisa relaxing on Patsy's Porch.
We were stuck next to this truck in a traffic jam in Salt Lake City. Unfortunately the Subaru was running rough and we had to turn off the AC and roll down the windows. If you are not familiar with this kind of truck - it hauls cattle. And this one was full of them. Thus we were fortunate to experience 100 degree temperature, no AC, traffic, and stinky cows. Yum.
The Evans Family!
Boo's friends when he was a kid - Max (Boston Terrier) and Kista (Boxer).
